Tom Jeleniewski
Director of Operations – Patriot Telecom

Tom Jeleniewski brings over30 years of experience in the Information Communications & Technology (ICT) and Low Voltage industry. He began his career as a Field Technician and steadily advanced through a variety of leadership roles, including Project Manager, Vice President of Estimating, and Director of ICT for some of the most prominent contractors in the New York City Metro Area.
Tom has led complex ICT projects across a wide range of sectors, including office fit-outs, data centers, medical and pharmaceutical facilities, financial institutions, entertainment venues, stadiums and arenas, educational campuses (K–12 and higher),mixed-use residential developments, and retail spaces. He has managed projects valued at over $35 million, working with several Fortune 500 clients, major universities, and nationally recognized stadiums.
A recognized industry leader, Tom actively contributes to the development of ICT standards through his work with BICSI, where he serves on three key committees:
- Standards–Codes, Healthcare & EducationParticipates in the creation of telecommunications and low-voltage industry standards.
- Technician Information and Methods (TI&M)Works alongside other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review and refine technical manuals and design/installation methods.
- ICT Installation Work group Focuses on best practices for cabling and infrastructure installation within the ICT field.
When he’s not leading operations at Patriot Telecom, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to his community. He volunteers as both a youth football coach and local firefighter and is also an active triathlon competitor.
